Greetings and thanks for having me, i'm here to learn Java but really i need to start from scratch.

Can you recommend me some books to read? or Online courses?

That may be a question for somewhere like javaranch.com. While Eclipse is predominantly known as a Java IDE, and has been used for teaching the language,
I always saw the Java tools as aimed more at someone who knows the language and surrounding lingo than someone learning it.
