this is my first time trying to download eclipse but i couldn't find anything online about the installer not starting. no error, no start up screen, no nothing. i thought maybe an antivirus program could be corrupting the download so i tried to uninstall ad and virus blockers first but that didn't work either.

ps. im on windows 11 and when i tried to download it to a windows 10 pc i had no issues.

If the installer doesn't work, which is very strange, you can download a package and hope that that works:
