Hello,

Recently we have scanned Eclipse IDE (4.4.2 and 4.21) with Black Duck to find any security violations existence in the mentioned IDE's.
Based on the knowledge base Black Duck has mapped plugins to various components found in its database.
Is there a way to find the mapping done Black Duck is correct or not?
I mean if I have a plugin jar, can I know the corresponding origin of the jar, from where its has been built.

Also is there a way to find the vulnerabilities of a particular version of eclipse IDE?

Thanks,
Sridhar
