Hi,

I have generated an emf model through ETL transformation which conforms to SACM metamodel.
The file name is sacm.model.
My idea is to further provide a graphical editor for engineers to have the access to modify this sacm.model so that the engineers don't have to learn the EMF or to have a deep understanding of SACM metamodel.

I am planning to generate a graphical editor based on SACM metamodel by Eugenia.

My question is that this editor could open the xxx.sacm file, and build xxx.sacm_diagram file. But can the sacm.model file be opened in the editor as graphics?

If not, is there a way to modify this sacm.model in an graphical way?

Hi Fang,

If you change the file extension of your model to sacm, you should be able to use the "Initialize diagram ..." wizard generated by GMF to create a diagram from it and edit it graphically.
