feature.exports coming up empty [message #31755] Mon, 23 February 2009 13:35 Go to next message

Working with headless buckminster, latest release (r9952). I have a
single feature with 40 or so plugins referenced in it. Running
'buckminster perform com.mypkg.subpkg.feature.sdk#feature.exports', I get
all of the plugins and the feature jars built in the output directory, but
the final copy steps don't do anything. Turning on debug output I see a
mass of apparent errors that say files cannot be found. It appears to be
looking in /fragments directories, of which I have none.

Here's a snip of the output, with -L debug set.

It continues on listing every plugin having no /fragments directory. The
output/site directory never gets created either.

Ideas why it's looking in /fragments? We have 2 fragments in the mix of
all the plugins, is buckminster getting confused?

Hi Nick,
All bundles may potentially produce a fragments folder. Buckminster just
checks if it's there, hence the output. Not sure why the copy step does
nothing. It works OK for me.

It would seem that feeding buckminster more heap space helps this. We had
to do it when we added the AJDT portions of the build, and apparently
needed more now. Getting all the output artifacts now.
