Important

    This build now uses eclipse's Update Manager to download and install XULRunner automatically. XULRunner no longer has to be manually downloaded and configured. [More Info]

    ATF must be installed using Eclipse's Update Manager. Please follow instructions carefully below.

Installation Instructions

The downloads are in the form of archived update sites. To install the ATF features into your Eclipse installation, perform the following steps:

  • Start Eclipse, and select Help -> Software Updates -> Find and Install...
  • Select Search for new features to install
  • Select Next
  • Select New Archived Site...
  • Select the location of the downloaded update site zip file
  • Select Finish
  • Make sure all ATF features are selected
  • Follow the remaining prompts to install ATF

For previous users of ATF, restarting using the -clean option is no longer required

Final Steps

    ATF does not come shipped with an Ajax runtime (Dojo, Scriptaculous, etc.) These runtimes need to be manually download and configured using ATF preference page options. Almost any Ajax rumtime can be configured to be used in ATF. Instructions are available in the AJAX Toolkit Framework User Guide in the Eclipse Help.
