Our Very First Eclipse Newsletter
|
Welcome to the very first issue of the Eclipse Newsletter. We have over 10 000 people signed up
for the newsletter so we are very excited about the interest.We plan to publish a monthly newsletter
that will hopefully be informative about what is happening in the Eclipse community and a technical resource about Eclipse technology.
Each newsletter will have a theme that highlights a certain Eclipse technology. This month the
theme is Transitioning to Eclipse 4.We want to make this a community newsletter so we'd love to
hear what you have to say. Please send me your feedback and suggestions.

Review the Board Candidates this Month
In preparation for the Board of Directors elections, the candidate pages will be ready for viewing
this month, on February 11. Voting begins on February 25 and ends on March 15. Look for an email soon with important information
about how to vote. Winners will be announced at the Members Meeting
at EclipseCon in Boston.

Get Ready for the Kepler Release Train
Kepler, the 2013 Eclipse simultaneous release, is scheduled for June 26, with the release review on
June 12. Participating projects must
submit their contribution questionnaires for third-party packages by February 8. IP Logs are due by May 24. See the Kepler wiki page for more information.
