Installing Eclipse Amlen in Docker containers

Install Eclipse Amlen in Docker containers by building and deploying the Docker images that you need to run Eclipse Amlen.

Before you build and deploy the Docker images that you need to run Eclipse Amlen, you must provision your operating system and install Docker. For more information, see Provisioning your operating system and Installing Docker on your operating system. You must also prepare the Eclipse Amlen .tz files. For more information, see Preparing the Eclipse Amlen .tz packages for installation.

To run Eclipse Amlen services on the Docker platform, you need to build and run the Eclipse Amlen Docker images as Docker containers on a supported host environment. After successful deployment, you must set and accept the license. For more information about setting and accepting the license, see Configuring the licensed usage for Eclipse Amlen and accepting the license by using REST Administration APIs. Once you have accepted the license, you can start to use Eclipse Amlen to handle connected clients and devices and also to process messages. You can use the Amlen WebUI to administer one or more Eclipse Amlen messaging servers.
