WST subproject report by Arthur

  • Structured Source Code Editor
    • Weekly calls are performed between teams on this topic
    • The first target is to review and select code pieces and to put selected pieces into CVS
    • The working group is doing OK according to the plan
  • Data Tools
    • Exadel is working on that topic : contribution to come
    • B.C. Holmes, from the 'Quantum Database Utility' OSS project, has joined Eclipse WTP - Welcome !
    • Arthur has a contact with Apache Derby project - Derby integration into Eclipse WTP is targeted (one Apache contributor foreseen)
    • Follow-up with Actuate is needed - may contribute to Eclipse WTP
    • Synergies with BIRT have to be explored

J2EE subproject report by Christophe

  • Bull working on JOnAS server tool implementation
  • Bull to contribute EJB wizard work done on top of JOnAS
  • Plan for EJB wizards document description

Architecture Committee report by David

  • Continuing with server tool meetings
  • By the end of September, a list of requirements is due
  • The group is planning to organize enhancements/bug reports in BugZilla.
  • A project overview is due.

Requirements Group reportĀ  from Jochen

  • The projet needs to deliver code to increase interest.

Planning Group report by Dominique

  • The milestone M3-M5 plan is expected for the end of October
  • The complete milestone plan is expected for the end of November
  • Need to check Eclipse Platform plan
  • Themes page and current milestone page to be published tomorrow
  • New contacts : Orbeon, Sysdeo, Air France
  • Thales TRT might be contributing to Eclipse WTP - description of Thales TRT Eclipse work to be posted on wtp list
