Sapphire is different from most other Eclipse projects in that you need Sapphire to build Sapphire. This means that you cannot run a standard Eclipse distro, load Sapphire source into your workspace and expect it to build.
The Sapphire SDK must be present in the Eclipse install in order to build Sapphire plugins.
There are several ways to get an Eclipse with a Sapphire SDK:
dev-eclipseproduced by the build.
Regardless of the way you choose to get Sapphire SDK into your Eclipse install, you need to make sure that it is pretty close to the version of Sapphire source code that you are trying to build.
Once you have an Eclipse install with Sapphire SDK, you can retrieve the source code.
Sapphire is in the Incubation Phase.
