    The Annual General Meeting will be held March 22 at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara from 1:30-5:00 pm. Guest speaker Jeffrey Hammond from Forrester Research will discuss application development trends and there will be a panel discussion on the future direction of the Eclipse Foundation.     Eclipse Training Series

    The Eclipse Foundation is partnering with member companies to provide a spring 2010 series of training classes on Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP), Equinox & OSGi and Modeling. All sessions feature classroom instruction and in-depth, hands-on tutorials. Classes will take place around the world from April 12 to May 28. Students who register at least 3 weeks in advance receive a 10% discount.

    Recent Project Proposals

    The eBAM project focuses on the evolution and promotion of a middleware solution for Business Activity Monitor.
    eBPM will provide a BPM Gateway Bundle into the OSGi container and will embed the OSGi runtime in an external BPM Engine.
    Eclipse Logic Framework (ELF)
    ELF will provide a complete Prolog development and runtime environment.
    Javascript for EMF (JS4EMF)
    JS4EMF will seek to integrate Javascript with all parts of EMF where it makes sense.
    Mangrove - SOA Modeling Framework
    Mangrove will extend the scope of the existing STP Intermediate Model (IM) component to improve editor coverage while reducing manual transformations.
    Marketplace Client Project (MPC)
    MPC will provide a tight install integration between the Eclipse workspace and Eclipse Marketplace, plus other third party solution listings.
    Remus Information Management
    Remus enables users to file, categorize and visualize diverse types of data as information units in a single application.
    The mission of ScalaModules is to employ the power of the Scala programming language to ease OSGi development.
    Scout provides an application model, reference implementations and utilities useful for business application development.
    secRT will provide a security runtime based on OSGi and an extension API to extend with security services.
    Sketch provides an API to insert elements on GEF/GMF editors by capturing gestures, typically using a pen on a tablet.
    Sphinx provides a modeling tool platform that eases the development of IDE-like tool support for modeling languages.
    Woolsey provides tools to assist with intellectual property management including generating, maintaining and submitting IP logs.
