    Eclipse Awards Each year the Eclipse Foundation gives out Community Awards to honour individuals, projects and technologies that make Eclipse a vibrant community. The call for nominations in 9 categories is open until January 29, 2010. Winners will be announced in a ceremony at EclipseCon in March.

    Run for the Eclipse Board of Directors

    Nominations for the Eclipse Foundation Board of Directors are open until January 28, 2010. There are to be 3 elected committer representatives and 3 elected solutions member representatives.

    New Dues Tier Added to Solutions Membership

    A new dues tier has been added to Solutions Membership specific to small organizations and startups. Organizations with fewer than 10 employees or contractors, and revenue less than $1m USD per year may become solutions members for $1,500 per year. For more information, please contact membership@eclipse.org.

    Submit a Paper for the Eclipse & OMG Symposium

    Eclipse and OMG will hold a one-day symposium on June 23, 2010 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to discuss the alignment between current OMG specifications and implemented Eclipse software, and to identify areas where the cooperation could be further improved in the future. Position papers of up to 600 words are requested by February 24, 2010.

    MTF will provide a mechanism like a meta repository on top of SVN, CVS and GIT. It will track the mapping between metamodel versions and editor plugins, and automatically provide P2-based update sites.

    The Mylyn Reviews project will do reviews based on Mylyn tasks, filter the review scope, provide inline-commenting for source code reviews and incorporate the review tasks in the Mylyn task list.
