You need to specify what needs to be monitored before you can profile your
application. Follow the steps below:

- Open the profile launch configuration (Select 'Run' > 'Profile...' from
the menu OR use the profile drop down toolbar and select 'Profile...')
- Switch to the 'Monitor' tab
- Select one or more of the available analysis types under "Java Profiling
(...)". For example, "Execution Time Analysis"

This appears to be a usability issue if reported by multiple users. I have
opened the following defect for it to be addressed:

Thanks for filing that. Turns out that something was wrong with my
installation and I wasn't ever getting the monitor tab in the launch
dialog (or any tabs for that matter). I had installed tptp via update and
something must have gone wrong. I got the full eclipse bundle and the
launch dialog now works correctly. I'm still struggling to get it to run
the profile with the graphical execution flow--guess I'll have to
breakdown and RTFM.
