Formatting x-axis labels [message #64827] Thu, 04 August 2005 09:46 Go to next message

Hi,

In the font attributes for the x-axis labels there is the option to
check a box saying "wordwrap". This would be very useful to me as the
the labels I currently am generating for my chart are quite long and
overlap with each other as a result.

When I check this box and view the results, nothing seems to change. Am
I doing something wrong? I can also set this programatically using the
charting API (in order to automatically generate my report), again
nothing seems to happen.

Any help as to how to wordwrap the labels on an axis of a chart would be
really appreciated.

Cheers

Nathan

Hi Nathan,

Please file a bugzilla entry for this issue. As for the overlap, I suggest
you rotate the x-axis labels by 90 degrees.

Thanks,

David
