What happened to 'Open Call Hierarchy' [message #191498]

In 3.1M3 I had the same thing and when I upgraded to M4 it worked fine
again. I concluded it was probably a bug in M3.

Now the same thing has happened in M4.

Did anyone experience the same or does anyone know how to fix it?

It works for me (J2SE 1.5.1, Eclipse 3.1M4, Linux) and afair it always
worked. Running 'eclipse -clean' doesn't do any good? (or opening new
workspace)

I had this problem. It cleared up after I started with a fresh
workspace. There is a bug report out there but it got closed as
unreproducable.

This may sound stupid but I have no idea how to create a new workspace...

Eclipse -clean did not do anything noticable to me.

The bug report is https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=80487

Silvio, did you check that the Call Hierarchy's settings are correct? I.e.
- 'Show Caller Hierarchy' is active
- Search Scope is set to Workspace (Context menu, or view toolbar menu
(Ctrl+F10))

Yes, it is active (I have never changed that)

Yes, that is set to Workspace, never changed that either.

It's easy. "File -> Switch Workspace" and enter a directory name that
doesn't yet exist - it'll be created automagically.
