Tray Item issues in Windows 10 [message #1721821] Sun, 31 January 2016 09:30 Go to next message

Hi All,

We are having a standalone SWT based Windows desktop application. We are on SWT 4.3

We contribute a tray icon using a tray item instance. We dispose it when the application exits. We keep on updating our icon at frequent intervals depending upon our application operations.
When the system goes to sleep and wakes up, ideally the application is active in memory.
Now in Windows 10 we see a problem where number of tray icons are increasing directly proportional to the user goes to sleep and wakes up. This is only happening on Windows 10, this is not present in Windows 8.1

My problem is i don't have a Windows 10 system, i only have a VM so i am not able to test it as i can't simulate sleep in VM.

So does anyone have any hint on this problem or faced this ?
is this scenario tested on Windows 10 ?

Regards,
Saurav
