starter.exe runs full-screen [message #165289] Mon, 06 March 2006 15:54
Eclipse UserFriend
When running a build in the CDT, the monitor appears to go blank with a
single flashing cursor in the upper-left until the build completes. Then,
it returns to the desktop and I can see the normal console output in the
console view.

It seems that starter.exe is running full screen. If I just double click
starter.exe (in the plug-ins folder), it blanks the screen for a fraction of
a second and returns. If I alt+enter during a build, the fullscreen
blackness turns into a window and I can watch the build running in Eclipse
(the window remains black with the single blinking cursor until the build
completes, then the window disappears).

How did I get starter.exe to always run full-screen... and how do I fix it?

Thanks,
