I'm getting prompted for the other team member's password when
attempting to merge differences in CVS, using Eclipse.
We're using a CVS service provider.
Details:
Eclipse Platform
Version: 3.0.0
Build id: 200406251208
I did an update prior to commiting changes. As expected, in
'synchronize view' I had a list of files showing conflicts. Within
synchronize view, however, when I attempt to "Open in Compare
Editor" for any file listed, I am prompted for the other team
member's password.
The other team member has never used the computer I'm working on.
Anything obvious I'm missing, or should try?

Hi Michael,
Thank you. Here's what I see:
CVS/Repository Explorer shows two items. One for me, one for the
other team member (who, again, has not used this computer).
Would you suggest I discard his location, or update the properties
with my user name / password?
Best,
RH

Actually, Michael, this didn't take. CVS Repository Explorer showed
two trees (one for the other team member, one for me) and as I
changed the properties that his tree 'disappeared'.
Then when I would try 'Open in Compare Editor' I would get the same
password prompt.
Thanks for your input. I'm not sure if it's an problem, or just my
needing to RTF Eclipse manual, but I discarded my changes and re-
entered them just so I could move forward.
Best regards,
RH
