That issue have been brought before. Yes, there are opinions more of
the settings (as the color and editor settings) should be stored in
the configuration area rather than in the workspace metadata. May be
there should be a mechanism/option to store certain settings in the
configuration area but to allow to override them in certain
workspaces. May be there's bug already filled on this, but I don't
know it.
