Due to a bug in the current jetty implementation I'm looking for an alternative solution.

Is it easy to replace the org.eclipse.jetty.* and org.eclipse.equinox.http.jetty bundles with apache tomcat bundles?

(I don't want to deploy an OSGi application in a servlet container but use it as an HTTP service provider inside of equinox.)

I would like to understand what the jetty bug is for my own information. I don't know how easy it would be to replace the jetty version with tomcat. You would have to do something similar to org.eclipse.equinox.http.jetty bundle that registers the equinox org.eclipse.equinox.http.servlet.HttpServiceServlet with the tomcat container.

I reported it as Bug 455655 - Inconsistency with "multipart/form-data" and "name" field .

Jan Bartel has been working on it but it is not a "quick fix" and sadly I am running out of time in my project.

It looks like Gemini Web might be able to replace jetty, which is exactly what I need.
