Hello,

I'm trying to access a local cvs repository on a Redhat 9 Linux box using
Eclipse 2.1. The only access methods for the CVS plug-in are pserver, ext
and extssh. In order to do this, I think I would need a local access
method.

Is there a way to do this? Will eclipse pickup a CVSROOT environment
variable and just use that?

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

you can use the extssh method and your host is localhost. If you are
using ssh (protocol version 2 only) on your host, then you might need a
plugin to enable eclipse connect via extssh2
(http://www.jcraft.com/eclipse-cvsssh2/index.html)

It works fine on my box.
