Synchronization between multiple PCs [message #272107] Fri, 10 July 2009 14:39 Go to next message

Hi NG,

I changed my company and now I'm confronted with the problem that I've to
sync a project (or better a workspace) between three PCs. Well I know the
first Idea sounds like "just use subversion". Generally I would agree, but
in this specific case I'm quiet unsure. One edge condition is that the
project already uses a subversion connection which many developers use. So
it's out of the question that I flood the public subversion with my "syncs".
Is there a better way to sync such a project or is it possible that I set a
private subversion instance on my main pc up and commit the project to both
repos? What could be the best way?

Kind regards,
Patrick Trübe
