Trouble with helloworld class [message #267752] Thu, 15 January 2009 18:18 Go to next message

I'm brand new to Eclipse and Java. I was following the hello world
application tutorial from the initial install and it said when creating
the HelloWorld class it says to click a checkbox to create the main().
Which checkbox? I don't see one listed for that. Here is the tutorial
text:

The next step is to create a new class. In the main toolbar again, click
on the New Java Class button (or the link below). If not already
specified, select HelloWorld/src as the source folder. Enter HelloWorld
for the class name, select the checkbox to create the main() method, then
click Finish.

Duane,

The one circled below called "public static void main(String[] args)"
