Changing the Optimization value cause Path delete [message #265665]

I'm using eclipse to develop c/c++ project.
I have defined a workspace with some Include Paths and Symbols.
When i change the optimization method of a given project -
The path definitions and symbols definitions for some of the files in the
workspace are earased and i need to reenter them manually for each file in
the project ( one by one )
This happens each time i chnage the optimization flag.

1. Did anyone encounter such a behaviour?
2. How can i resolve this
