Hello,
Main problem is, In the navigator I see all the files from my workspace,
but the text editor come up with following error:
"unable to create this part due to an internal error. Reason for the
failure: the editor class could not be instantiated. The usually indicated
that the editor's class name was mistyped in the plugin.xml"
Now the system hangs with an pop-up window warning me about error
and it won't disappear.
How do I solve this problem?
It all happened after I have run version update.
First I ran version update for eclipse,
and after wards I ran upgrade for Latex plugin;
from version TeXlipse 1.1.0 to TeXlipse 1.2.2.
According to installation guide for TeXlipse 1.2.2
( url: http://texlipse.sourceforge.net/manual/installation.html)
I am supposed "0. Delete the previous version of TeXlipse..."
than run -clean and then fetch updates.
However, FAQ for eclipse
(url: http://wiki.eclipse.org/FAQ_How_do_I_remove_a_plug-in%3F)
tell me "You should not remove plug-ins from Eclipse...."
Thing is, I have updated the TeXlipse without removing the previous
version (and hoped for it should work)
Eclipse came up with some error and all functions to TeXplugin
from function bar are removed.
I have tried out dozens of different things to solve the problem,
One stunt I have tried is renaming the folder under
/eclipse/plugins/Net.sourceforge.texlipse_1.1.0
I have even tried to run new update after renaming the new folder
Net.sourceforge.texlipse_1.2.2. But its not working.
I hope someone can help me. I am not very much familiar with eclipse
and need to get started with writing my Tex-documents. Please help.
