Hello everyone,
I was wondering where I could find some documentation on getting started
with writing plugins for eclipse 3.0. Can anyone point me to appropriate
resources and the correct newsgroup?
I would like to start off with a basic plugin, with some File I/O and XML
support, then move on to adding advanced features, such as adding GUI for
management etc.
Thanks
Regards,
Muhammad Momin Rashid

There is a big section in the on-line help for this. In Eclipse, Help > Help
Contents, then in the Help window select Platform Plug-in Developer Guide.
There are also a number of books and courses, see
http://www.eclipse.org/community . As far as newsgroups, eclipse.platform is
good for most plug-in issues.
