Hello !

Big matters to choose the adequate Eclipse platform. I failed to do this
last days. I am almost going to stop this process. So, please could you
kindly tell me what Eclipse software - ideally a unique one - should I
download to code AT LEAST C, C++, and Fortran programs, including the UML
editor ?

Besides, when I downloaded every ECLIPSE softawre concerned, I failed to
commute (zap) from one to another one.

Can you help me ? Help !!!!

Yours faithfully,

Laurent Delphin

PS Mac OS-X (Leopard) user.

You need to download one of the all-in-one packages and then update
through the discovery site to add features that are missing. There is
NOT one package that includes everything that you want. You might like
to look for:
- CDT (for C/C++ development)
- Photran (for Fortran development)
Sorry, I don't know where the UML plugin lives.

UML2 development stuff can be installed from this update site:

http://download.eclipse.org/releases/ganymede

Or, use this all-in-one bundle:

http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/eclipse-modeling-t ools-includes-incubating-components/ganymeder
