I have HTML being displayed using a dynamic text element (the type is set

are referenced by an external style sheet. My issue is that I can't seem
to get the styles to work properly as it seems that I can only apply a
style on the whole dynamic text element. I tried to import the CSS and
most of it came across, but much of it did not (either it's too complex(?)
or malformed). Either way, the parts that DID come across weren't applied
to the elements in the dynamic text portion. Is there a way to reference
an external CSS style sheet from the report designer? Or is there a more
accepted method of accomplishing my goal? TIA.

Hi Charlie,

You can apply the style to the report items through the following two ways:
1. Apply specific style on the report items
In the layout of BIRT, right click on the report item, and apply the
style through context menu.
2. Apply specific style on one kind of report items
In the outline of the report, click on the style, and choose the type in
the "predefined style" list.

Thanks,
sissi
