I have been asked to find out if there is JSP support in Eclipse 3.0. On a
search, I did not find definitive evidence, but some indication that it is
in the tomcat plugin.

In eclipse SDK, there is no JSP editor, debugger and the like. However
the debugger implements a JSR that helps the implementation of debuggers.
Note there exists several commercial tools based on 3.0 that have
support for JSP.

Look at the Web Tools project in Eclipse. It has finally reached full
approval as a major project and will include a JSP editor. The first
sources (not a release build yet) are due to become available in the next
week or two.
