Strange when copy/paste [message #260339] Sat, 10 July 2004 01:50 Go to next message

Hi.
When I do the copying/pasting, something seems strange:
I'm editing the Java source code, and want to copy some lines of code to
another place, I selected the lines, about 15-line, press Ctrl-C, and then
move to the paste place, and press Ctrl-V, and just nothing happened. I've
tried several time, and tried to use mouse and right-button-menu, the
results are the same. And I also tried to copy/paste only one line, it
sometimes works, but not always.
Does someone know what the problem is?
I'm using the Eclipse 3, windows 2000 pro, JDK 1.4.2, Lomboz.3rc2.
And another problem: the xdoclet tags prompt just lost when editing, it
worked when using the M8.

Does it work if you use only the right-button-menu for both the copy and
paste?

I'd recommend entering a new bug, and included the details you've provided
here. Be sure to mention whether the copy/paste works if you use only the
context menu.

cheers,

Yes. I've also tried to use the right-button-menu only for both the copy and
paste, and its result is the same.
I donot know how to enter a new bug, can you do it for me? Very thanks!
I'm using Eclipse 3 + Lomboz 3 + JBossIDE 1.2.430. The JBossIDE should not
affect this because it was installed in the day before yesterday(12/7).

Thanks. I added it to the Bugzilla.
And please forget the "xDoclet tags" thing, it's functionality of JBossIDE,
after I installed it, it work well.
