BIRT - reusable component [message #259615] Fri, 26 October 2007 07:26 Go to next message

Hi,

Our project is using BIRT 2.2.0.
We are developeing a reusable component for outputs based on BIRT 2.2.0.
For the above purpose, whether can we say that BIRT runtime is a reusable
component which is in the business layer?
Also then I have to deploy my output component(which uses BIRT) to
application server. We are using OC4J server. Is it possible for BIRT
component to use OC4J (Oracle) application server?
I have not found any material regarding deployment of BIRT to Oracle
application server.

Thanks and regards,
Shomy

Shomy,

I have never deployed birt as part of OC4J and it is not a configuration
that the dev team explicitly test. That said it should work.
