Multiuser configuration [message #259505] Thu, 08 July 2004 04:05 Go to next message

Hi,
in my company we are using Eclipse 3.0 from an NFS server, but we have the
problem that since the final 3.0 release the configuration is stored in the
'configuration' directory on the NFS server and not in the home directories
of the users.
Does anybody know how to enable saving in the home directory of the users
again?

TIA Tim

Makind the eclipse install in the NFS server read only will force the
configuration to be written somewhere else.
If this is not enough, you can try to specifyy
osgi.configuration.area=@user.home
in the config.ini file that leave on the NFS server.
