Hi there

last couple of days i did search and search on how to create cross tab
report Programatically with design engine API.But google couldn't give me
any answer :)
oops.... i even looked into the birt CVS repository.

any help would be great.

Raju,

I don't think that we have this in our examples yet. I will try and get
it built today.

If you are inpatient and want to get it sooner, I would recommend having
a look at the BIRT source in CVS. The org.eclipse.birt.report.item.crosstab.core.tests
project has examples of building a Crosstab through code. In particular
if you look at TestEngine.java in the org.eclipse.birt.report.item.crosstab.core.re
package you will find the createCrosstab method.

The test suite is often a little tricky to figure out, but the basics should
be there.
