Ganymede: Extremely slow code completion [message #258519] Fri, 06 February 2009 05:00 Go to next message

In the Europa version of Eclipse the speed of organizing imports, code
completion and such things was at normal speed.
After updating to Ganymede, this was not any more true. The organize
import operation (while saving the file) takes now around 1 minute while
Eclipse is frozen. Where there many changes on the code completion part of
Eclipse?

We have 150 projects in the workspace. Does this have an influence here?

Thanks for help.

Mmh, good question. Did it snow while you did it? Just kidding ;-)
Please create some stack dumps while waiting for a minute and attach
them to a bug report.
