"BIRT Report Viewer" text in report and title bar [message #255837] Wed, 19 September 2007 10:12 Go to next message

In version 2.1 I had asked how to take the "BIRT Report Viewer" text out
of the report viewer screen.

I was directed to the FramesetFragment.jsp page and could modify that
quite easily.

In version 2.2 it seems that value is set somewhere else and I wasn't able
to find it. Where is that value set now and can it still be modified?
Also where is the value set that puts the text "BIRT Report Viewer" in a
popup title bar?

Kindest regards,
Shayne

I have modified it in the
org.eclipse.birt.report.viewer.ViewerPlugin.properties file.

Where does that file exist for the sample web app?

I see it in a viewer.jar file under my eclipse plugins but not in the
webapp directories. Also in the eclipse directory the property is set to
"BIRT Web Viewer" but in the webapp is says "BIRT Report Viewer".

Shayne

I see a viewer.jar file in my eclipse plugins but I do not see it anywhere
under the BIRT VIEWER sample webapp. How do I change that text under the
sample web app?

I see a viewer.properties file inside the WEB-INF directory, I tried
adding the viewer.browserTitle property to it but to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Shayne

I found it. It's inside the viewservlets.jar

I extracted the jar and modified the
org.eclipse.birt.report.resource.Messages.properties file. Changing the
birt.viewer.title property.
