total.sum problem in groups?!?! To Jason [message #254769]

Hi
I use BIRT 2.1 and i have a report with 3 groups. i need to get a total of
the value on detail road for each group. Seems like a simple thing- just
use Total.sum on each group footer. But BIRT doesn't like having the same
expresion: Total.sum(row["qq"]) in three rows. Even though i put in
"Agregate on" the right group, it changed it to wrong group, it deletes my
expression, it changes everything... I don't know why, is it a bug, it
there any work around??
Please help, such a simple thing, drives me crazy already for a few days!!

Also the same problem happening across the report- i have 7 columns for
period and 7 for YTD and some columns just getting the same sum as others,
like value for some reasonb just getting copied.. i'd loke to attach my
report design, but i use modified BIRT for our organisation (just for use
our database, nothing else), so you won't be able to run it... can attach
XML file if it'll be any help.

I upgrated to latest release and it's all wroking fine :)
