Hello,
I have a question regarding customer colors in charts.
I defined via the birt designer a customer color with the palette
dialog. then I save the report and quit birt. After reopening the birt
with the report the customer colors are not any longer present in the
color palette dialog.

Is there a way via scripting to set the series color on a bar chart with
multiple series.

Best regards,
Norbert

I was able to change this. What you can do is look at the XML source for
<SeriesPalette> tag and see if the colors defined there are your customer
colors. There are several different places in XML these are defined and
probably you are setting it in wrong place.
