Hi,
we use Eclipse on different platforms (so, default encoding is different
too) and it would be nice to use native comments in CVS commit. BUT, our
language (unfortunately) has special chars and UTF-8 is so desired. CVS has
no problems. But Eclipse has.
Is it possible to commit files with UTF-8 comment?
If I try to commit some files from different CVS tool with UTF-8 comments,
in Eclipse and "team -> show resource in history" command are bad comments
(bad encoding) - let's say "strewed tea"...
Is it possible to setup somewhere in Eclipse CVS comments encoding?
Thank you very much.

In 3.0, you can set your server encoding. In the Repositories view,
select your repo and open the properties dialog. Unde the Server
Encoding tab, yu can set the encoidng of your server. This encoding is
used to translate commit comments and file names but does not touch file
contents.
