Hello,

I'm new to this portal and I would like to know which group I should
write to if I'm interested in Eclipse plugins.

Thanks.

PDE would be the best group.
And RCP is also interesting.

Do you mean that you are interested in writing your own Eclipse plugins, or
that you are interested in discovering and using existing Eclipse plugins
that others wrote?

As Jeroen said, then, eclipse.pde might be good; it is a newly created group
but will probably be picking up steam. The eclipse.platform group is very
active (eclipse.pde is basically a spin-off of eclipse.platform) and is also
a good location for discussing how to write Eclipse plug-ins.

And, of course, eclipse.newcomer is always a good discussion forum for
people who are new to Eclipse.

I would also highly recommend the book "Building Commercial-Quality Plugins"
by Eric Clayberg and Dan Rubel, and of course the tutorials that are part of
the Eclipse help.
