I am trying to buy a MAC mini 1.43 Ghz 512MB RAM machine. My current PIII
laptop performance badly with eclipse. I was wondering if MAC mini is a
worth buy if majority of my development is through eclipse.

As you may have sensed I am a novice MAC user.

Thankyou.

Just a side note: try to use Eclipse with -vmargs -Xmsn -Xmxn, where n
is the amount of RAM eclipse allocates at startup (e.g. Xms128m) and the
max. amount it should be able to allocate at all (e.g. Xmx386m). This
can significantly improve the performance (at least in some aspects) and
might be an intermediate solution for your "hardware problem". ;)
