Hi,

We are using Linux. Eclipse is installed once by our manager and all of
us use the same installed Eclipse(version 3.3.2). I remember that
without root password, I can install a plugin only for myself and others
will not be affected when I use Eclipse 3.2.2. The instruction was
obtained from Help, by searching keyword "multiple users".

Now I forgot how to do it. The search in Help content in Eclipse 3.3.2
does not give me any information. The results from Google searching
suggest that only root can install plugin, which is in contrast to my
previous experience.

Thank you for your help.

Hey,

maybe this works with creatin an extension location (where you have
access), e.g in your home directory. Look at this:
