Greetings,
I came across Koneki project while searching for OMA-DM protocol implementation in java.

My use case is to implement OMA - DM client Android library that can talk to existing OMA - DM server.

Let me state first that I am completely new in both OMA-DM and Android dev, so any answer on my very basic questions would be much appreciated.

1. OMA - DM simulator and client code
I understand that the OMA - DM client is not released as standalone library, but the client code can be extracted from the simulator source code. Is this correct?

2. Where can I find the source code for the OAM simulator. I've tried cloning several git repos I found, but I am getting access denied.

3. Are you maybe aware of the existence of separated koneki OMA - DM client code and simulator that talk over http, not within the eclipse workbench.

4. If I eventually extract client code into the standalone jar, is there any problem of releasing it as Android library?

Hi,

I am not really aware of the Koneki OMA-DM simulator and I basically have never code on top of android, but here some clues:

The oma-dm simulator code is here: https://github.com/eclipse/koneki.simulators, he is organized in bundles (eclipse plugins), i don't think you can re-use them on android.

You can re-use all the code of Koneki according to the http://www.eclipse.org/legal/epl-v10.html. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eclipse_Public_License.
