Debug mode doesn't run program [message #249680] Fri, 04 June 2004 14:22 Go to next message

After debug mode working perfectly for a while (e.g. program execution stops
at breakpoints), it appears that programs are not running at all when run in
debug mode (the breakpoints are never hit, no noticeable program execution
occurs. I do see a new "thread' of execution (e.g. console shows
localhost:99999, but the console window is empty) Also, the debug commands
(e.g. step into) remained grayed out on the Run menu. Right before debug
stopped working I did see an error message complaining about the VM/JRE call
stack being invalid - but rebooting my PC does nothing to fix this problem.
The programs continue to run correctly in non-debug mode. I'm running
Windows XP by the way.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm a newbie/idiot - All I needed was to switch to debug view (which
apparently happend automagically before)
