Hudson 3.2.0 is now available for production use from the downloads page. This milestone encapsulates the upgrade of the Spring libraries to Spring 3 and upgrades the capabilities of the Team support to full multi-tenancy with Job Group View and Slave isolation.

More details of the Hudson 3.2.0 work can be found on the Hudson Blog.

The Active Directory plugin is broken.

It expects the Hudson version to be 3.2.0-M0.

Regards,

Oli

Probably Hudson version resolver is considering 3.2.0-M0 as a later version than 3.2.0. Need to re-release the plugin setting parent version to 3.2.0

Oliver, is it only Hudson incorrectly mark in the Plugin Center or actually the plugin itself is broken. I thought the plugin itself loads and works fine. It is just that the Plugin Center incorrectly mark it.

The plugin is marked with a yellow icon instead of a green one along with a warning message.

When I try to login it using my AD credentials it doesn't allow me to and the "remember me" checkbox is also missing.

1.I upgrade hudson from 3.1.2 to 3.2.0
2.Check all the plugins. the active directory is enabled(expected).
3.Configure security:there is no active directory option(unexpected).

The active directory issue was a problem caused from our side.

Hudson 3.2.0 required a new version of the active directory plugin (1.31-h2) however the Hudson version this was released against was 3.2.0-M0 not 3.2.0. This causes the upgrade logic to not trigger for the active directory plugin as it should and you are therefore stuck on the incompatible 1.31-h1.

Downloading the 1.31-h2 active directory plugin hpi [http://hudson-ci.org/update-center3.2/downloads/plugins/active-directory/1.31-h2/active-directory.hpi] and installing it manually should fix this. Winston is going to re-release the active directory plugin with a corrected version today so nobody else has this issue.

Thanks for helping us chase it down.

I uploaded the active-directory plugin version 1.31-h3. Try to update the plugin and see if Active Directory entry shows up in the security panel.

I tried 1.31-h2 and 1.31-h3, still can't see the active directory option.

I removed the active directory plugin in .hudson/plugins directory and install it again, I got the active directory option. Thanks.
