Hi friends,

I am new to Eclipse. I have installed Eclipse 3.1. I do not see the J2EE
Perspective under Window -> Open Perspective -> Other. Do I need to
install any plugins or add any jar files to the library to enable J2EE
Perspective in Eclipse 3.1. If so, please give me an overview of how this
can be done.

Thanks in advance!!

Hi. Do you really mean 3.1 or do you mean 3.3.1? 3.1 is an old version,
so you definitely want 3.3.1.

Assuming you have 3.3.1, which Eclipse version did you download? The
easiest way to get this is to download the Eclipse IDE for Java EE
Developers from http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/. HTH. Mark

Also, make sure you are running with a java 1.5 JDK. The Eclipse Web
Tools needs a 1.5 JDK.
