Following an example in a book, I created in a package called eg, a
Test.java and a TestAspect.java. I was able to successfully run the
examples within Eclipse. I usually don't like to think in terms of files,
but in terms of classes, methods and now in addition: aspects, pointcuts,
advice etc. As a result I like to use perspectives such as Java Browsing.
After I created the two simple artifacts, the class and the aspect, when I
open the Java Browsing perspective, I see the Test class but not the Test
aspect. Is support for this forthcoming? I am using Eclipse 2.1.1 and the
following plugins: org.eclipse.aspectj_1.1.3 and org.eclipse.ajdt.ui_0.6.3.
Thanks!

Hi Sridhar,
We are about to embark on the piece of work to better integrate aspects
into the Eclipse model - if we can get them into the model then all the
various views within Eclipse will understand them and display them.

Andy.
