Package Explorer is empty after "Go Into" and delete of this project [message #246883] |

Hello,
currently my package explorer is empty if I open a certain workspace and I'm
not able find a way to get it populated again.
What I did:
1.) I selected a project A and selected "Go Into"
2.) Somehow (I'm not able to reproduce / undo this) I made this perspective
the default one. So everytime I started Eclipse this view of "Go Intro" for
this specific project A was the default one. I always had to select "Up" to
get the "right" level.
3.) At some point I deleted project A.
Now the "Up" button is inactive and the package explorer is empty.
Any advice how to solve this? I did run eclipse with -clean but no result.
And in addition does anyone know how to set the "Go Into" to the default in
the package explorer? If I could reproduce this, I would like to open a bug
report.
Best regards, Lars

Hi Dave,
thank you for the tip. Resetting did not help but based on your tip I closed
the perspective.
After closing all perspectives and re-opening the java one the package
explorer is displaying the elements again.
Thank you, Lars
P.S. I will update Bug 200375 accordingly.
