Hi,
I am interested in extending the Project Explorer tree. What I intend to do
is that under a folder (sitting under some project), I want to populate a
tree (either dummy/virtual or a reference/linked resource) on basis of the
actual tree existing on the file system. In the process I want to be able to
detect clicks or actions on items in this tree and also be able to suppress
some of the native Eclipse actions (via the right-click, etc.). Also, I
would like this tree to be in sync with the file system in a manner by which
any changes made to its contents on the file system be reflected on my tree
as well.
I would be most grateful if you could guide me to where I could find
specific information for the same. I am using Europa and hence any material
related to extending functionality for the above here would be great!!
Thanks,
Rahul
