Hi Massimo,

The example does not work on any GEF later than GEF 3.1.2.

I was able to get the example working on GEF 3.3(3.4) by commenting out
NodeJoiningDirectedGraphLayout in DirectedGraphLayoutVisitor and removing
NodeJoiningDirectedGraphLayout and DummyEdgeCreator. Not sure what other
changes I had to make.

I wanted to update this article with working source code, but have not had
the time. Hopefully June/July/Aug I will get the time....
