Sunny,

BIRT may well be able to handle your reporting needs. BIRT supports report
parameters. The target 1.0 release date is May 15, well before your
production deadline.

A suggestion: find one of your simplest designs. Try it in BIRT to get a
feel for the tool. Then, try your most complex design to ensure that BIRT
can do everything you need.

Yours sounds like a great project; let us know your progress. We'll try to
help you through any glitches you may encounter along the way.

Thanks for the quick response, really appreciate it. I did try simple
reports and works like a charm. Hats off to a great product in the making.
Unfortunately, the team is not so excited and they want to go .NET way as
Access to .NET to quite simple. I'm into Java side and not microsoft, so I
won't be involved in that project. But, BIRT will be my option if
reporting comes my way.
